As requested, linked below is a quick guide we created on how to ensure your glovebox 3.5mm aux input works properly when retrofitting an RNS510, RCD510 or RNS315 into your 2005.5-2009 Volkswagen.

This is only needed if audio no longer plays via your glovebox or armrest's 3.5mm aux input after installing one of the aforementioned devices, or if you hear a hissing, distorted sound.

Tools needed for this DIY are the tools required to remove your factory radio, and a precision flathead screwdriver.
