Bring your factory RNS510 navigation system up to date with the latest v5382 firmware. This update improves system speed, fixes common freezing issues, and enhances overall stability for North American units.

Digital installs must be burned properly to a CD-R disc. Improper burning is the #1 cause of install failure.

Installation Guide (Step-by-Step)
  • Use a CD-R only (not DVD or CD-RW)
  • Burn at 4x–10x speed max
  • Enter SWL mode using STAR + EJECT + GUIDE
  • Insert disc after red bars appear
  • Do not turn off vehicle during update
The update process typically takes 40–55 minutes. The system will reboot automatically once complete.

Important Notes
  • Vehicle must remain powered during install
  • Improper disc burn = most common failure
  • Firmware will NOT fix hardware issues
  • Units with bad CD drives or mainboards may still fail
This firmware is not guaranteed to fix a non-working radio. If your unit does not read discs or is stuck rebooting, hardware repair may be required.

Warranty
  • Eurozone Tuning Branded Kits: These kits come with a 6-month warranty that covers replacement or repair due to manufacturing defects. Damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse is not covered.
  • EZT Carbon Edition Steering Wheels: The EZT Carbon Edition steering wheels come with a 1-year warranty for workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by physical misuse, harsh environments, or improper installation.
  • Porterfield Brakes: Porterfield offers no warranty for brake pads due to the nature of the part.
  • AWE Tuning Products: AWE Tuning offers a lifetime warranty on their exhausts and a one-year warranty on their intakes and intercoolers. The warranty covers craftsmanship and materials under normal usage conditions. Abuse, improper installation, and modifications void the warranty.
  • ZAC Motorsports: ZAC Motorsports products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not include damage due to racing, misuse, or improper installation.
  • Motul Oils: Motul products come with a limited warranty that covers the shelf life and quality of the oil when used as directed. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proper documentation of vehicle usage and oil change intervals.
  • KW Coilovers: KW suspensions come with a limited lifetime warranty on their coilovers. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials. Excludes damages from motorsports or improper installation.
  • ST Coilovers: ST Suspensions offer a 5-year limited warranty on their coilovers. The warranty covers craftsmanship, materials, and normal usage. Improper installation, racing, and modifications are not covered.
  • Eibach Coilovers: Eibach products carry a limited lifetime warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation, racing, or misuse.
  • Öhlins Coilovers: Öhlins coilovers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation or racing applications.
