This retrofit kit will allow you to upgrade the stock unit from your 2015+ VW Golf/GTI/Golf R to a European 9.2" Discover Pro MIB2.5 unit.

Upgrading to this kit will give you the new 9.2" Display, GPS Navigation, Apple Carplay/Android Auto and Gesture Control (swipe your hand in front of display to change menus). Our retrofit kit includes the following components:

• OEM Discover Pro MIB2.5 infotainment unit in like-new condition
• Component Protection removed, to allow for a nearly plug and play install. May need some minor VCDS programming to fully function in your VW
• OEM 9.2" Display and OEM Bezel/Trim with Vent
• In Gloss Black trim color (only color available). Brand new.
• 4x Trim Removal Keys
• Needed to remove your stock unit from its stock glovebox harness location

Fitment Notes:

• If your vehicle is a 2015
• The USB Upgrade Kit is needed to use Apple Carplay/Android Auto
• The 8" display and bezel upgrade is mandatory. Your existing display cannot be used with the MIB2
• If your vehicle is a 2018+
• Check your glovebox for a Brain Unit/CD slot mechanism. If this does not exist, you will also need a Relocation Wiring kit and a new Inner Glovebox Assembly to complete the retrofit.

Other notes:

• Minor Vagcom programming needed if your vehicle is equipped with Fender Audio
• Include your VIN Number with your payment in the "Notes" section
• Please allow 1-2 weeks before item ships for programming purposes.
• Unit is EU Spec with North American maps installed. Sirius Radio will not function on these units.
