Description

This Sirius Extension Cable is necessary for those installing an RNS315, RNS510 or RCD510 in a 2005.5-2009 Volkswagen and would like to retain your Sirius Radio.


2005.5-2009 Volkswagens which have Sirius Radio installed from the factory gain their signal using a Sirius Module. This module exists underneath the passenger seat. The RNS and RCD series radio do not need this module and need a direct connection from the Sharkfin roof antenna to gain a signal.

 

Choose 10 feet for vehicles which have the Sirius module under the passenger seat.

Choose 15 feet for vehicles which have the Sirius module located in the trunk.

Choose 20 feet Female to Female if retrofitting a sharkfin roof antenna and need a cable to reach from the new radio to the antenna. One antenna is needed per each connection (I.E. Sirius, GPS)


If your 2005.5-2009 Vehicle's factory radio does NOT have Sirius Radio/Sirius Module underneath the seat, please purchase the External Sirius Antenna which is also available in the Eurozone Store.

  • Eurozone Tuning Branded Kits: These kits come with a 6-month warranty that covers replacement or repair due to manufacturing defects. Damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse is not covered.
  • EZT Carbon Edition Steering Wheels: The EZT Carbon Edition steering wheels come with a 1-year warranty for workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by physical misuse, harsh environments, or improper installation.
  • Porterfield Brakes: Porterfield offers no warranty for brake pads due to the nature of the part.
  • AWE Tuning Products: AWE Tuning offers a lifetime warranty on their exhausts and a one-year warranty on their intakes and intercoolers. The warranty covers craftsmanship and materials under normal usage conditions. Abuse, improper installation, and modifications void the warranty.
  • ZAC Motorsports: ZAC Motorsports products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not include damage due to racing, misuse, or improper installation.
  • Motul Oils: Motul products come with a limited warranty that covers the shelf life and quality of the oil when used as directed. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proper documentation of vehicle usage and oil change intervals.
  • KW Coilovers: KW suspensions come with a limited lifetime warranty on their coilovers. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials. Excludes damages from motorsports or improper installation.
  • ST Coilovers: ST Suspensions offer a 5-year limited warranty on their coilovers. The warranty covers craftsmanship, materials, and normal usage. Improper installation, racing, and modifications are not covered.
  • Eibach Coilovers: Eibach products carry a limited lifetime warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation, racing, or misuse.
  • Öhlins Coilovers: Öhlins coilovers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation or racing applications.
