Gloss 2x2 carbon with perforated grips, gray stitching, and a black center stripe. Manual transmission fitment (no paddles). Includes gloss black trim, lane assist module, and heated steering plug.

Overview

This is an in-stock EZT Signature steering wheel for VW MK8 GTI, GLI, and Golf R models with a manual transmission. It features gloss 2x2 carbon fiber, perforated side grips, gray stitching, and a black 12 o’clock center stripe.

This wheel is configured for manual cars, so it has no paddle shifter provisions. It also includes a few key components that help keep the swap clean and straightforward.

Heated Steering Note
This wheel includes the heated steering plug so your car will not throw a heated steering fault

This wheel is intended for manual transmission vehicles. It does not support paddle shifters. If your vehicle is DSG, do not order this wheel without confirming with us first.
Installation Notes
  • Professional installation is strongly recommended due to airbag handling.
  • Disconnect the battery before removing your factory steering wheel airbag.
  • Transfer your OEM buttons and any required wiring from your original wheel.
  • Heated steering function is not retained, but the included plug prevents a heated steering fault.
  • EZT offers in-house installation by appointment at our Connecticut shop.

  • Eurozone Tuning Branded Kits: These kits come with a 6-month warranty that covers replacement or repair due to manufacturing defects. Damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse is not covered.
  • EZT Carbon Edition Steering Wheels: The EZT Carbon Edition steering wheels come with a 1-year warranty for workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by physical misuse, harsh environments, or improper installation.
  • Porterfield Brakes: Porterfield offers no warranty for brake pads due to the nature of the part.
  • AWE Tuning Products: AWE Tuning offers a lifetime warranty on their exhausts and a one-year warranty on their intakes and intercoolers. The warranty covers craftsmanship and materials under normal usage conditions. Abuse, improper installation, and modifications void the warranty.
  • ZAC Motorsports: ZAC Motorsports products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not include damage due to racing, misuse, or improper installation.
  • Motul Oils: Motul products come with a limited warranty that covers the shelf life and quality of the oil when used as directed. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proper documentation of vehicle usage and oil change intervals.
  • KW Coilovers: KW suspensions come with a limited lifetime warranty on their coilovers. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials. Excludes damages from motorsports or improper installation.
  • ST Coilovers: ST Suspensions offer a 5-year limited warranty on their coilovers. The warranty covers craftsmanship, materials, and normal usage. Improper installation, racing, and modifications are not covered.
  • Eibach Coilovers: Eibach products carry a limited lifetime warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation, racing, or misuse.
  • Öhlins Coilovers: Öhlins coilovers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation or racing applications.
