What This Service Does
This service prepares a compatible Volkswagen MIB2 PQ radio for retrofit use in another vehicle. Your unit will be unlocked and programmed for the vehicle information provided with your order.
Once programming is complete, the unit will be returned using the shipping service selected during checkout.
Turnaround Time
Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks after your unit arrives at EZT for programming and processing.
Return transit time is separate and depends on the shipping method selected during checkout.
Additional Retrofit Parts May Be Required
Programming the radio is only one part of an MIB2 PQ retrofit. The additional hardware required depends on your Volkswagen model, year, existing radio, factory audio system, and desired features.
- USB and AUX retrofit wiring
- Vehicle-specific radio harnesses
- GPS antenna or antenna adapters
- Display, trim, microphone, or camera-related components
- Additional coding for certain factory sound systems
