This rearview camera kit includes all the wiring and hardware necessary to add a Lowline rear view camera display to your Discover Media, Discover Pro or Composition Media Radio (exclusions are shown below).

This camera will fit in the following vehicles:

  • Volkswagen Golf MK7 2015-2021
  • Volkswagen GTI MK7 2015-2021
  • Volkswagen Golf R MK7 2015-2021

Professional Installation is recommended. Removal of door sills and panels is required to feed cable throughout the vehicle.

This kit will work with the following Head Units:

  • Discover Media Navigation
  • Discover Pro Navigation
  • Composition Media radio EXCEPT 5G0035812,5G0035819,5G0035819A,5G0035820,5G0035820A

Includes the following:

  • Motorized Factory Rear VW Emblem with integrated Backup Camera (Flips open upon entering reverse gear)

  • Retrofit Harness from Radio/Navigation unit to rear trunk lid

  • OEM Drain tube for rear emblem

Note: Vagcom/VCDS coding is required to enable the Rearview Camera input in your MK7

Adding a factory rear-view camera is a simple yet impactful upgrade. It improves visibility and makes parking and reversing much easier and safer. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with your vehicleā€™s existing display for a clean, OEM look. With our detailed installation guides, it's a DIY-friendly upgrade you can tackle on your own!
Warranty
  • Eurozone Tuning Branded Kits: These kits come with a 6-month warranty that covers replacement or repair due to manufacturing defects. Damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse is not covered.
  • EZT Carbon Edition Steering Wheels: The EZT Carbon Edition steering wheels come with a 1-year warranty for workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by physical misuse, harsh environments, or improper installation.
  • Porterfield Brakes: Porterfield offers no warranty for brake pads due to the nature of the part.
  • AWE Tuning Products: AWE Tuning offers a lifetime warranty on their exhausts and a one-year warranty on their intakes and intercoolers. The warranty covers craftsmanship and materials under normal usage conditions. Abuse, improper installation, and modifications void the warranty.
  • ZAC Motorsports: ZAC Motorsports products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not include damage due to racing, misuse, or improper installation.
  • Motul Oils: Motul products come with a limited warranty that covers the shelf life and quality of the oil when used as directed. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proper documentation of vehicle usage and oil change intervals.
  • KW Coilovers: KW suspensions come with a limited lifetime warranty on their coilovers. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials. Excludes damages from motorsports or improper installation.
  • ST Coilovers: ST Suspensions offer a 5-year limited warranty on their coilovers. The warranty covers craftsmanship, materials, and normal usage. Improper installation, racing, and modifications are not covered.
  • Eibach Coilovers: Eibach products carry a limited lifetime warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation, racing, or misuse.
  • Ɩhlins Coilovers: Ɩhlins coilovers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation or racing applications.
