OEM Rear Camera Retrofit for Volkswagen Models
Add a rear view camera display to your compatible Volkswagen head unit using an OEM bumper-mounted camera setup. This kit is designed as a flexible solution for VW owners who want rear camera functionality without converting to a hatch emblem or trunk handle camera setup.
The camera can be adapted to many Volkswagen models, but it does require minor modification. A small hole must be drilled in the bumper or selected mounting location to properly install the camera.

Vehicle Fitment
This kit can be adapted to most Volkswagen vehicles, but it is not a fully pre-molded, vehicle-specific camera assembly. Because the camera is bumper-mounted, the installer will need to choose a proper mounting location and drill a small hole for installation.

Head Unit Compatibility
This kit is available in two versions depending on your radio or retrofit setup:

Option 1: 26-Pin Version for RNS and RCD Systems
- RCD510 Touchscreen Radio, F or H revision only with yellow 26-pin camera input
- RNS510 Navigation System
- RNS315 Navigation System

Option 2: MIB2 Version
- MIB2 PQ retrofit systems
- MIB2 Discover Pro retrofit systems
Important Radio Compatibility Note
For RCD510 radios, only F or H revision units with the yellow 26-pin rear camera input are compatible. Not every RCD510 has this input, so please verify your radio before ordering if you are unsure.
RNS510, RNS315, and RCD510 installations require Vagcom/VCDS coding to enable the rear view camera input. We can activate this on any compatible radio purchased from EZT. Just send us a message or add a note to your order.
MIB2 installations may also require coding or adaptation depending on the vehicle, camera version, and retrofit setup.

This camera kit is ideal when your Volkswagen does not have a direct-fit emblem camera option, or when you want a discreet bumper-mounted camera solution for a custom retrofit.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is recommended. Installation requires routing wiring through the vehicle, removing interior trim panels and door sills, and drilling a small hole to mount the camera.
Take your time choosing the camera location before drilling. Camera placement will affect viewing angle, final appearance, and overall usability.
