These units are pre-coded before shipment, but some vehicles may still need minor coding adjustments using VCDS or OBDeleven depending on equipment and retrofit history.

A scan tool may still show a CP-related stored code, but it has no effect on functionality. A dealer visit is only needed if you want that code removed from diagnostic logs.
