VW MIB2 Discover Pro Full Retrofit Kit 

This retrofit kit will allow you to upgrade the stock unit from your 2015+ VW Golf/GTI/Golf R/E-Golf/Alltrack to a Discover Pro MIB2 unit.

Upgrading to this kit will give you Navigation, Apple Carplay/Android Auto and will allow you to upgrade to an OEM 6.5" or 8" Screen.

Our retrofit kit includes the following components:

• Discover Pro infotainment unit in like-new condition
• Component Protection removed, to allow for a plug and play install. May need some minor VCDS programming to fully function in your VW
• 4x Trim Removal Keys
• Needed to remove your stock unit from its stock glovebox harness location

This kit will fit the following vehicles:

• 2015-2020 Volkswagen GTI 
• 2015-2020 Volkswagen Golf R 
• 2015-2020 Volkswagen Golf
• 2015-2020 Volkswagen E-Golf
• 2015-2020 Volkswagen Alltrack
• 2015-2020 Golf Sportwagen/TDI

Fitment Notes:

• If your vehicle is a 2015
• The USB Upgrade Kit is needed to use Apple Carplay/Android Auto
• The 6.5" or 8" display and bezel is mandatory. Your existing 5.8" display cannot be used with the MIB2
• If your vehicle is a 2018+
• Check your glovebox for a Brain Unit/CD slot mechanism. If this does not exist, you will also need a Relocation Wiring kit and a new Inner Glovebox Assembly to complete the retrofit.

Other notes:

• The " MIB2 Brain Unit Alone" option is for the MIB2 Brain Unit alone, without display or trim bezel or any other components. Use this option only if you want to re-use your 2016+ 6.5" display or already sourced a new 6.5" or 8" display
• Minor Vagcom programming needed if your vehicle is equipped with Fender Audio
• Include your VIN Number with your payment in the "Notes" section
• Please allow 1-2 weeks before item ships for programming purposes.
• Unit is EU Spec with North American maps installed. Sirius Radio will not function on these units.
