2015 Models
Factory-equipped with MIB1 (5.8" screen). This kit upgrades you to MIB2, offering faster performance, a larger display, and full CarPlay/Android Auto support. You’ll need the USB/CarPlay Wiring Kit, available as a product option or separately.
2016–2017 Models
Already equipped with MIB2 Discover Media (with navigation) or Composition Media (without navigation). This kit is ideal if you want to:
Replace a faulty factory unit
Upgrade from Composition Media to Discover Media to gain navigation
Move to a faster processor version (Discover Pro)
2018–2021 Models with Glovebox Brain Unit
If you see a disc drive or MIB2 Brain Unit in your glovebox, your car already has Discover Media. This kit is ideal for replacing a faulty unit or upgrading to Discover Pro for faster performance and built-in GPS.
2018–2021 Models without Glovebox Brain Unit
If your glovebox does not contain a brain unit, your car has the Composition Color system. To upgrade to Discover Pro, you’ll also need:
Pre-programmed MIB2 or MIB2 Discover Pro head unit
Your selected screen (6.5" or 8" glass-style display)
Trim panel (only included when selecting 8" glass style)
Factory vent (already installed in the trim)
Pre-installed North American firmware (tailored to your VIN)
Head Unit Options
Discover Media: Found on North American 2016–2018 models. Includes SD card for GPS navigation and supports SiriusXM and HD Radio.
Discover Pro: Euro-spec unit with a faster processor and internal GPS memory. SiriusXM and HD Radio are not supported, but maps and firmware are preloaded for North America (other regions available upon request).

6.5" Display: Factory-style MIB2 screen, fits your original MIB1 5.8" trim.
8" Glass Display: Sleek edge-to-edge capacitive display, compatible only with the included 8" glass trim options.

Note: If you select the 6.5" display, no trim is required and none will be included. Your original MIB1 5.8" trim will fit perfectly.
Installation & Programming
All units are VIN-matched before shipping. Your car’s TPMS, Drive Modes, and backup camera will continue to work.
2015 vehicles with Fender audio require one coding adjustment after install using OBDeleven or VCDS.

If you have a 2015 VW, this upgrades your MIB1 system to MIB2 — faster performance, larger screen, and CarPlay support.
2016–2021 models already have MIB2, but this kit is ideal if your unit is failing or you want to upgrade to the faster Discover Pro with internal GPS and an 8" glass display.
Select your head unit (Media or Pro), then pick a 6.5" or 8" glass display. 6.5" display uses your original MIB1 5.8" trim. 8" glass displays include new trim with the vent pre-installed.
All kits are pre-programmed to your VIN. Fender audio requires one quick coding change after install.
Warranty
Eurozone Tuning Branded Kits: These kits come with a 6-month warranty that covers replacement or repair due to manufacturing defects. Damage from improper installation, accidents, or misuse is not covered.
EZT Carbon Edition Steering Wheels: The EZT Carbon Edition steering wheels come with a 1-year warranty for workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by physical misuse, harsh environments, or improper installation.
Porterfield Brakes: Porterfield offers no warranty for brake pads due to the nature of the part.
AWE Tuning Products: AWE Tuning offers a lifetime warranty on their exhausts and a one-year warranty on their intakes and intercoolers. The warranty covers craftsmanship and materials under normal usage conditions. Abuse, improper installation, and modifications void the warranty.
ZAC Motorsports: ZAC Motorsports products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, but does not include damage due to racing, misuse, or improper installation.
Motul Oils: Motul products come with a limited warranty that covers the shelf life and quality of the oil when used as directed. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proper documentation of vehicle usage and oil change intervals.
KW Coilovers: KW suspensions come with a limited lifetime warranty on their coilovers. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship and materials. Excludes damages from motorsports or improper installation.
ST Coilovers: ST Suspensions offer a 5-year limited warranty on their coilovers. The warranty covers craftsmanship, materials, and normal usage. Improper installation, racing, and modifications are not covered.
Eibach Coilovers: Eibach products carry a limited lifetime warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation, racing, or misuse.
Öhlins Coilovers: Öhlins coilovers are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship but excludes damages caused by improper installation or racing applications.
