Add a factory-style rear view camera display to your Volkswagen Beetle while keeping the clean OEM look. This kit uses the Beetle emblem camera setup and includes the wiring and hardware needed to connect to compatible VW head units with a 26-pin backup camera input.
This is a great upgrade for Beetle owners who want modern convenience without installing a universal aftermarket camera or cutting into the rear of the vehicle.

DIY or Professional Install Professional installation is recommended, but experienced DIY installers can complete the retrofit with the proper tools and coding.
Vehicle Fitment
This rear view camera kit is designed for the following models:
- 2012-2015 Volkswagen Beetle, gas and TDI models
- 2012-2015 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, gas and TDI models
Compatible Head Units
This kit is intended for Beetles equipped with one of the following VW head units:
- RNS510 Navigation System
- RNS315 Navigation System
- RCD510 Touchscreen Radio, F or H revision only with yellow 26-pin camera input
Important Compatibility Note
The RCD510 must be an F or H revision with the yellow 26-pin camera input. Not every RCD510 has this input, so please verify your radio before ordering if you are unsure.
Vagcom/VCDS coding is required to enable the rear view camera input on the RCD510, RNS510, and RNS315. If you purchase a radio from EZT, we can activate the camera input before shipping. Just send us a message or add a note to your order.

Installation Notes
Professional installation is recommended. Installation requires routing wiring through the vehicle, including removal of interior trim panels, door sills, and related panels to feed the cable properly.
Please allow a 4-7 business day lead time when placing an order for this kit. Pricing has increased as Volkswagen no longer mass produces these components in the same volume.
