The RCD510 must be an F or H revision with the yellow 26-pin camera input. Not every RCD510 has this input, so please verify your radio before ordering if you are unsure.
Vagcom/VCDS coding is required to enable the rear view camera input on the RCD510, RNS510, and RNS315. If you purchase a radio from EZT, we can activate the camera input before shipping. Just send us a message or add a note to your order.
This kit is built around OEM Volkswagen components for proper fitment, clean integration, and a factory-style finished result.
Professional installation is recommended. Installation requires routing wiring through the vehicle, including removal of interior trim panels, door sills, and related panels to feed the cable properly.

The only place to get a retrofit OEM Backup Camera System for an Early Late Series A5 Beetle. Quality appears excellent, Instructions are clear. Have yet to install since waiting for a Blind Spot Sensor system to arrive. I only want to take apart the car and put it back together once, not twice. Service was fast as possible, Questions were answered promptly to make sure I had the right setup from the start.
Finally got the camera installed 2015 Convertible Beetle after COVID-19 shut down. Found local installer who was impressed with fit. He did have to unpin the 26-pin connector to run the cable. He suggests ship unpinned with pin chart. Works great. Wife is pleased.
Consulted with my local VW Dealer, bought the part, Dealer install and coding $500. Works Great. $1,000 for OEM backup camera in 2012. This is fantastic. Very pleased!!
